Thank you everyone for your very generous contributions of christian books Bibles CDs and DVDs which are given away free to the churches and people of Papua New Guinea.
They are very gratefully received with our second container having arrived in Port Moresby on 8th March 2025.

Christian books are a luxury in PNG and most people simply cannot afford them. There is a very small range available locally but many of those are very expensive.  Virtually none of the books and Bibles at Koorong are available in PNG, unlike Australia where people have large collections.  

English is compulsory in PNG schools with the national literacy rate being around 75%. There are literally hundreds of thousands of Christians with very little or nothing in the way of  Christian books and in many cases no Bibles. Papua New Guinea has a population of just over 10 million and they are very open to the gospel.

So far we have sent over 60.000 Books and Bibles with the third container now in process.
